Hi, my name is Aliciamarie. Most people call me “Ali” for short. Let me tell you a little bit about myself — both professionally and personally.

After the realization set in that I could not survive off of traveling and adventures alone, I spent many evenings browsing online job boards seeking dream roles that seemed so out of reach. It wasn’t until I realized that I was meant to use my innate creativity and writing talents that I was finally able to place myself on the path to happiness.

My name is Aliciamarie and I’m a passionate, trilingual Miami-based journalist and marketer who loves crafting content and turning ideas into reality.

I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Florida in 2012 and my Master’s degree in Marketing from Florida International University in 2020. I have a 7-year background in both fields and have tried on a few different hats, first working for Brand Portal, a small digital marketing agency located in the heart of Rome, where I worked with various international clients including Eni, Olivetti, AS Roma, Expo Milano, and more. Upon returning to the U.S., I worked for Discovery Communications as a Media Logistics Coordinator and later as a Network Services Coordinator for Univision Communications where I oversee the Galavision network account and drive content flow through the production pipeline. More recently, I worked as the digital content manager for North America at Guinness World Records. I had the opportunity to meet and work with some of the most talented record-holders on the face of the earth!

Each of my positions have given me the opportunity to pick up on plenty of great skills and has provided me with so much insight into the world of communications. Not to mention, I’ve had unique opportunities to meet some pretty cool celebrities like JLO, Seth Rogan, 50 Cent, Halle Berry, Gabrielle Union, Shaquille O’Neal, Gerard Butler, and John Travolta.

Although I have worked in several different roles, I am a reporter at heart and have a passion for storytelling and in knowing that I can help thousands of other people hear a person’s story. I’m very comfortable researching sources and finding the information needed to craft relevant and appealing copy, including marketing brochures, newsletters, articles, or blog posts. In addition, I am skilled in copywriting, social media marketing, and web design.

Outside of the office, I enjoy quality family time, exploring new culinary dishes, and traveling as often as possible. I’m Mom to little Julian who owns my entire heart and soul. I consider myself to be a true wanderlust, always ready for a culturally diverse adventure. In fact, I’m fluent in Spanish and Italian and am always looking to brush up on my language skills over coffee or drinks. If you challenge me to animal trivia, I will win. I’m currently trying my hand at (very amateur) photography. I also live the sweaty life and will probably recruit you to join me in a spinning class.
